CEDARBURG — A local business’s brand inspires people to go out and live life to the fullest.
Get Busy Liv’n was founded in 2018 by Andy Siefkes of Cedarburg and Ken Otte of Kohler...
Special thanks to Andrew and Jennifer Zook over at Geared Up for connecting us with the Fat Bike Worlds. We had an absolute blast out at Jackson Fork Ranch in beautiful Bondurant, WY. It was an honor to be a sponsor of this great event and we look forward to being out west again for not only Fat Bike Worlds 2022, but other Fat Bike events. This group of people get what it means to GET BUSY LIV’N!
Last quarter was a great success for our GIV’N BACK program. In January, Brand Ambassador and stakeholder, Andy LaFond presented our 4th quarter check to Carissa Barnes, Executive Director of Ozaukee Nonprofit located in Grafton Wisconsin. For those not aware, Ozaukee Nonprofit Center is a multi-faceted nonprofit with an event and collaborative workspace that offers services and support for other local nonprofits. Their facility enables nonprofit organizations a place to connect and collaborate while focusing on the needs of the community. Please check them out and consider making a donation directly by visiting their website.
Last quarter we excitedly brought onboard Locally Inspired - a community-focused retail shop located in downtown Port Washington, WI. They collaborate with some of the most talented designers, artists, and makers across the state of Wisconsin to bring you a reliable selection of high-quality, handcrafted products. Every purchase you make directly supports the artisans represented in the store. We truly are honored to be a part of the Locally Inspired family.
As part of our LIV'N IT & GIV'N IT quarterly giving back program, we'd like to acknowledge our partnership with EAA and their Young Eagles program. We had the opportunity to present a check to our good friend Sara Nisler at EAA. For those unfamiliar with Young Eagles, it’s a program created by the Experimental Aircraft Association “EAA”, designed to give children between the ages of 8 to 17 an opportunity to experience flight in a general aviation airplane while educating them about aviation. Our connection to the aviation community is global and we feel this is just the beginning of a great relationship with EAA.
It’s that time again! The fourth quarter is upon us and we are thrilled to announce our next “GIV’N BACK” partner, Urban Ecology Center out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The mission is simple, they connect people in cities to nature and each other. We typically rotate our GIV’N BACK program from humanitarian to environmental causes, Urban Ecology Center covers both. Get Busy Liv'n will be committing 5% of top-line revenue from October through December of 2019 to this fantastic organization.
We partnered up with The Cottage At Cedarburg. This is a great place to visit and their values are pure. Check’m out online, but more importantly you need to visit their store for the full experience. Cedarburg is a great destination only 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.
As part of our growing family we are proud to share a new partner joining GBL’ to spread the good vibes. Back in August we opened our first retail presence in Wyoming at Geared-Up located at the gateway to the Wind River Mountains. For those traveling to Wyoming who love the outdoors, this place is an absolute must visit. No better way to see the mountains than on a bike. Geared Up. Be sure to tell Andrew and Jennifer that you wanna Get Busy Liv’n and they’ll gear you up with a great rental or purchase.
We're so excited to show off our new tent at Summer Sounds in Cedarburg, WI. What a great venue for us to show what we are all about. Live music by award winning artists attracts a great crowd. The venue draws thousands of people every Friday night who truly define Get Busy Liv’n! See you all there in 2020!
We absolutely love the timing of our next “Giv’n Back” partner. With the World’s largest fly-in soon upon us, AirVenture 2019, this quarter we are proud to announce our partnership with EAA’s Young Eagles. Young Eagles is a program created by the Experimental Aircraft Association “EAA”, designed to give children between the ages of 8 to 17 an opportunity to experience flight in a general aviation airplane while educating them about aviation.
The program is offered free of charge with costs covered by the volunteers. It was launched in 1992 and has flown more than 2 million children in 90 countries. Get Busy Liv'n will be committing 5% of top-line revenue from July through September of 2019 to the Young Eagles program.
Our belief at Get Busy Liv'n is to never be grounded in life’s journey. Experiencing flight truly allows one to spread their wings and live life to the fullest. Perhaps this is one reason we have such a strong following in the aviation community.
Our journal captures moments of our Get Busy Liv’n Lifestyle. You’ll be able to read our quarterly newsletters from here too. Enjoy!
