It’s that time again! The fourth quarter is upon us and we are thrilled to announce our next “GIV’N BACK” partner, Urban Ecology Center out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The mission is simple, they connect people in cities to nature and each other. We typically rotate our GIV’N BACK program from humanitarian to environmental causes, Urban Ecology Center covers both. Get Busy Liv'n will be committing 5% of top-line revenue from October through December of 2019 to this fantastic organization.
We absolutely love the timing of our next “Giv’n Back” partner. With the World’s largest fly-in soon upon us, AirVenture 2019, this quarter we are proud to announce our partnership with EAA’s Young Eagles. Young Eagles is a program created by the Experimental Aircraft Association “EAA”, designed to give children between the ages of 8 to 17 an opportunity to experience flight in a general aviation airplane while educating them about aviation.
The program is offered free of charge with costs covered by the volunteers. It was launched in 1992 and has flown more than 2 million children in 90 countries. Get Busy Liv'n will be committing 5% of top-line revenue from July through September of 2019 to the Young Eagles program.
Our belief at Get Busy Liv'n is to never be grounded in life’s journey. Experiencing flight truly allows one to spread their wings and live life to the fullest. Perhaps this is one reason we have such a strong following in the aviation community.
As you know, our partner for the Q1 2019 "Giv'n Back" program was Milwaukee Riverkeeper. This week we presented the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Team our "Giv'n Back" promise. (Pictured below is Ken Otte from GBL', Cheryl Nenn (right) and Anne Michalski (left) from Milwaukee Riverkeeper). For those new to this lifestyle brand with a purpose, every purchase you make, we donate 5% of our top line revenue to a charitable cause. We call it “Giv’n Back”. We're also excited to show our continued commitment to keeping our rivers clean by becoming good stewards of our own water. Back in February we went through the necessary training at Milwaukee Riverkeeper and are proud to announce we now are part of the Adopt-A-River program here in Wisconsin. Stay tuned for an announcement of our first river cleanup this summer on Cedar Creek and the Milwaukee River. As a reminder to our Colorado and Wisconsin ambassadors of our brand, we have river cleanup events on April 27th for both Roaring Fork Conservancy and Milwaukee Riverkeeper. If you can make the time, we'd love to see you out on the water with us on the 27th! www.getbusylivn.com hashtag#getbusylivn hashtag#livnitandgivnit hashtag#GBL hashtag#neversttleforgood hashtag#milwaukee hashtag#milwaukeeriverkeeper hashtag#earthday2019
